Sumbawa

Sumbawa

SUMBAWA
is larger than Bali and Lombok combined, Sumbawa is Indonesia’s 9th largest island and shouldn’t be mistaken with its brother, Sumba.
Blessed with incredible coastal scenery, Sumbawa is a hidden gem best known for its surfing spots. Lakey Peak, Supersuck, Yo-Yo’s, and Scar Reef offers some of the greatest world class waves, with championship surfers from all over the world flocking it every year. Pristine beaches, spectacular waterfalls, ancient megalithic tombs, friendly locals, are among the many incredible things you’ll discover here.
If you are thinking of a more remote and tropical getaway, head to the north coast and stay at Moyo island, a luxury remote tropical paradise made famous by the visit of late Lady Diana in the 90s. Go trekking and catch the stunning waterfall of Mata Jitu hidden deep within the island. Explore the forest reserve and savannah which is home to wild oxen, deer, wild boars, and indulge in some bird watching activities.
