A secret getaway that you won’t want to miss
Kenawa Island, not to be confused with Kanawa in Flores, is 15 odd acres of uninhabited and untouched grasslands. Surrounded by sandy beaches, it offers amazing snorkelling conditions and heaps of starfish, sea horses, crustaceans, and any other crazy creatures you can imagine.
If you’re looking for a bit of adventure, head to Jereweh Waterfall. The rock faces are set in a staircase-like formation, so the water blasts down the mountain side. Huge trees surround it and make for incredible viewing at any time of year. Not many people tend to head this way, so enjoy some peace and quiet while it lasts.
